OTV serves this market with "body mind spirit" programming services through its owned and operated on demand and live channels on mobile devices, IPTV, cable, satellite and Over-the-Top (OTT) platforms. OTV delivers entertaining and inspiring content in the following popular categories: Life 101, Spirituality and Metaphysics, Natural Health, Current Affairs, Earth & Science, Love, Sex & Relationships.

In addition, OTV provides advertising services to brands targeting the holistic consumer market by delivering brand-sponsored, customized content across the internet based on targeted media planning and buying.

History

In September 1997, Oasis TV, Inc., a subsidiary of Movicorp, Inc., launched the Oasis Television Network on satellite to become the world's first Body Mind Spirit programming service in the world. It was founded by Robert Schnitzer after he realized mainstream media underserved the growing market of "cultural creatives," those for whom non-religious spirituality, world peace and social justice are primary life values.

From 1999 through 2001, Oasis TV expanded to free over-the-air television, with a 3-hour block, 7 days a week, broadcast throughout the Southeastern United States. From 2001-2003, with the start of streaming video on the web, Oasis TV partnered with Real Networks to launch the first worldwide subscription video-on-demand service. From 2002 through 2005, Oasis TV also was the "holistic" video provider of Mind-Body content for Microsoft's MSN.com portal.

In 2004, under then-president Victoria Overton, Oasis TV launched its free on demand service on Time Warner Cable throughout Los Angeles, California.

In 2007, OTV Media Group, Inc. was formed to own and operate Oasis TV by acquiring certain assets of Oasis TV's three founding companies which have since been wound down: Movicorp, Inc., Oasis TV, Inc. and OTV Digital, Inc. The assets acquired included hundreds of hours of video content, as well as carriage agreements with Time Warner and Comcast.

From 2007-2008, investment banker Azim Khamisa served as chairman while founder Robert Schnitzer remained as President/CEO. In 2008, Schnitzer added the role of board chairman to his responsibilities.

In 2009, OTV entered into cable and satellite carriage agreements with Cox, Charter and DISH Network, representing approximately 6.5 million cable and satellite households.

In 2010, the Company's board of directors elected former Time Warner CEO Gerald Levin as chairman.

In 2011, OTV rebranded its programming service "OTV" and launched its new 24/7 live linear IPTV channel to complement its on demand channels. OTV launched this new channel, plus its on demand channels, on "over-the-top" platforms, including Roku and Boxee. In addition, its website was customized for seamless, app-less viewing on iPhone, iPad, Android and Blackberry devices.

Log into your account and go to your profile page. Scroll to the bottom and click the link Cancel My Premium Subscription then click on the Unsubscribe Button. It's that easy. If you cancel your subscription, you will no longer be billed. You will, however, be able to continue enjoying Cinema Holistica until the end of the then current monthly or annual subscription period. Sorry, there are no refunds.

Interview OTV's New Chairman Gerald Levin

Gerald Levin is a media pioneer, and Vision Magazine was fortunate to speak with him. Starting in 1972, Levin pioneered the creation of HBO and helped develop the modern cable industry. From 1992 through 2002, he served as Chairman/CEO of the media conglomerate Time Warner. She later spent eight years in Los Angeles teaching children with special needs during the day, acting and helping produce theater and film at night. Registration and Free Content
OTV provides free access to most of its content. Registration as a member is free. Your identity is not disclosed to any third parties without you permission (see OTV's Privacy Policy elsewhere on the Site).

Premium Video Service
OTV's premium video service is called Cinema Holistica. You can pay to watch a single Cinema Holistica program within a 24-hour period or you can subscribe on a monthly or annual basis to watch all Cinema Holistica programs. Under normal circumstances, barring technical problems accessing the particular program you paid to watch, such purchases are non-refundable.

OTV will bill your credit card or PayPal account one time for purchases of a single show. Monthly and annual subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis. You can cancel your subscription at any time, which will stop at the end of the end of the then-current billing cycle. You will be able to continue watching premium videos until the end of the monthly or annual billing cycle.

To cancel your subscription, log into your account and go to Cinema Holistica Subscription. Click on the MENU tab and then click on the UNSUBSCRIBE button.

Cancellation of OTV Newsletter
Your subscription to the OTV Newsletter may be cancelled by clicking on the "Unsubscribe" link located at the bottom of each Newsletter.

Shopping Returns and Exchanges

The product must be shipped to OTV using tracking and delivery confirmation. If the product is defective, OTV will refund the purchase price and all shipping charges, including return shipping. If you are returning the product for any reason other than defective merchandise, OTV will refund only the purchase price and taxes, if applicable.

If the product is defective and you wish to exchange it for the same product, OTV will replace the product at no cost and refund your return shipping charges.

If you wish to return or exchange a product purchased from a third party, you agree to do so in accordance with that third party's refund policy. Although OTV shall not be liable in any way for such transactions, we will be happy to assist you in any way we can.

Cancellation of Shopping Orders
In the event a product purchased directly from OTV is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error received from its suppliers, OTV shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. OTV shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, OTV will issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge.

Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify OTV's acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of OTV's offer to sell.
